Thursday, July 22nd, 2010Art Director. A full branding program was developed to revive this historic site to a distinct and sophisticated destination. Everything from their logo through their marketing and collateral materials, special promotional gifts, and signage. Promotional items included chocolate boxes, gift cards, laundry bags, invitations, and menus.
Art Director. Creating a retail experience in the newest American Airlines terminal at New York’s JFK Airport. This program creates a system of visual elements which uses kiosks, banners and posters, as well as lighting and floor elements, integrated within the structure of the terminal to give the traveler a greater sense of fun, comfort and value, while increasing the visibility and revenue for the retailers and food court.
Art Director. A strategic branding program for the largest library system in the country, with exterior and interior signage that create a cohesive identity while evoking the diversity of the 64 communities that it serves. An experience for each facility in the Queens Library system that honors their extraordinary mission to the most diverse community in the country.
Art Director. A distinct image for Gateway Plaza including logo, typography and format for all areas of signage.
“Sold Out” was an art exhibition at Times Square gallery where the art was actually a functional store in which all merchandise have been sold on Opening Night…
“Genesis” was a time-based installation featuring layers of 38 languages in both visual and sound interpretations.
New Housing New York Design Ideas Competition was a global design competition sponsored by CUNY, the City of New York and the AIA/NY, for developing affordable housing in three underdeveloped City communities.
This program became so successful that it has become a tool for other communities. The culmination of this design project was the development of The Legacy Project book, which reviewed the selection process for the winning design for the built project.
Low Income Investment Fund, or LIIF, provides capital and technical assistance to low-income communities for the development of housing, childcare, education, and other community-building initiatives. This is an informational book on standards for childcare facilities, titled Quality Environments for Children.
